Bir \u00e7ok arkada\u015f\u0131m\u0131n da ifade etti\u011fi gibi, sadece zirve civar\u0131nda baz\u0131 kar ge\u00e7i\u015fleri yapar\u0131z diye bekliyorduk. Ancak \u00f6yle olmad\u0131, neredeyse 6 saat karda y\u00fcr\u00fcd\u00fck. Hadi b\u0131kt\u0131k demiyeyim, karda y\u00fcr\u00fcmeye doyduk diyebilirim rahatl\u0131kla.<\/p>\r\n

Zafer’in arad\u0131\u011f\u0131 patika kar \u00f6rt\u00fcs\u00fc alt\u0131nda kal\u0131nca, en uygun kestirmeden bizi k\u00f6ye kadar ula\u015ft\u0131racak toprak yola indik. Tam burada, k\u00f6yl\u00fclerin \u0130kizoluk dedikleri, mavi fayanslarla kapl\u0131 bir \u00e7e\u015fmeye vard\u0131k.<\/div>\r\n

\u0130kizoluk\u2019ta biraz nefeslenip, olduk\u00e7a lezzetli suyunu \u015fi\u015felerimize doldurduktan sonra, tekrar yoldan y\u00fcr\u00fcmeye devam ettik. Zemindeki kar \u015fa\u015f\u0131rt\u0131c\u0131 bir \u015fekilde en a\u015fa\u011f\u0131lara kadar varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fc. Anla\u015f\u0131lan o ki, kar k\u00f6ye kadar hi\u00e7 eksilmeyecek diye d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcm. Mobil bilgisayar\u0131m\u0131n \u015farj\u0131 bitti\u011finden, y\u00fcr\u00fcd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz toplam mesafeyi arkada\u015flar\u0131m\u0131n s\u00f6ylemlerinin ortalamas\u0131 olarak 15 km kabul ettim. Sabah 9:45 gibi y\u00fcr\u00fcy\u00fc\u015fe ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131k, demek ki toplamda 8 saatten fazla s\u00fcren bir karl\u0131 t\u0131rman\u0131\u015f ve karda ini\u015f y\u00fcr\u00fcy\u00fc\u015f\u00fc olmu\u015f. Sol dizimde \u00e7ok hafif bir s\u0131z\u0131 ile bu zorlu etkinli\u011fi bitirdi\u011fim i\u00e7in “memnun-mesut” hissettim kendimi!<\/div>\r\n

\u00c7AL DA\u011eI EVENT – January 12, 2020<\/span><\/p>\r\n

With the influence of the cold weather in recent days, while the peaks around \u0130zmir were covered in white covers, we organized the Manisa \u00c7alda\u011f\u0131 Event as PetkimTrek. Like in the event we held in the same place three years ago, we will start from Temrek village of Turgutlu district. Likewise, we will finish the event in Yakuplar village after passing the \u00c7alda\u011f\u0131 summit.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Today we have 15 people with a good participation: Zafer, Mehmet, Atalay, Aynur, Canan, \u00c7etin, Demirhan, Erg\u00fcn, Faruk, Ferda, G\u00f6khan, Murat, Servet, \u015einasi, \u00d6mer. We demonstrated a very harmonious group discipline. There was no broken voice, no one left the group; we started and finished together.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The unexpected of the day was that we had been doing activity in snow for so long. As many of my friends have stated, we were just waiting for some snow crossings around the summit. However, that’s not what happened, we walked in snow for almost 6 hours.  <\/span>Let me not say we got tired, I can easily say that we are full of walking in the snow.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

It was a cold day as we expected.  <\/span>Especially when rising at the summit cone, the breeze was getting cold.  <\/span>And at the top, it was cutting like a knife;  <\/span>at the first opportunity, we threw ourselves to the other side of the mountain.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

We escaped the wind behind the hill, but this time we encountered more accumulated snow than we ever expected. <\/span><\/span>In some places our poles almost completely sunk. <\/span><\/span>Since we did not expect this, we did not take leggings with us, nor did we attach the snow baskets of our batons. Our wet trousers caused our shoes to become damp.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

We were thinking of taking a lunch break after the snow cover was over, but even though it was almost 14:00, we were still walking in the snow. We had to take a break in the snow at a flat area. Zafer and Mehmet Tural’s grape juice (!) serving added pleasure to the lunch once again. <\/span>The main festivity was a tiny hunting dog that turns its tail fast like a propeller; it kept running to get something eat from between someone to other, during the lunch.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

While continuing the descent after the lunch break, we again walked in the snow for a long time. Since the path Zafer was looking for was under the snow cover, we made a suitable shortcut and entered the dirt road that would lead us to the village.<\/span><\/span> Right here, we arrived at a fountain covered with blue tiles, which the villagers called \u0130kizoluk.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

After taking a little breathing in \u0130kizoluk and pouring its delicious water into our bottles, we continued walking on the road again. The snow on the ground surprisingly survived all the way down. Apparently, I thought the snow would never end until the village. <\/span><\/span>Where the snow finally began to dilute, it was nearly 5pm.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

After that, we walking curlingly continuing again on the dirt road and when I personally got bored with a pronounced feeling of fatigue, we saw the view of the village where the big mosque and its high minaret were chosen. While drawing a large V to the left and then heading towards the village, at the behind us the peaks of \u00c7alda\u011f\u0131 with the transmitters on it were actually seemed quite far away.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

When I arrived at the village as the last person, it was 18 o’clock and the ones who came from the front were sipping their tea at the cafe. <\/span>I learned from my friends that the total distance is on average 15 km since my cell phone is running out of charge.<\/span> Because of we started walking around 9:45 in the morning, it means that it lasted more than 8 hours as a climb and descent hiking in snow. <\/span>I felt “satisfied-happy” because I finished this challenging event with a very slight pain on my left knee!<\/span><\/p>\r\n
