Ayşen, Kamer, Can geçen ay yağmur çiselemeye başlayınca Everest’le geri döndükleri için yalnız yaptığım bu turu, bugün birlikte tamamladık. Küçük çapta bir zirve çıkışı da yaparak, yaklaşık 9 km (5.1 mil+800 mt) uzunluğundaki parkuru 2.5 saatte bitirdik. Etkinliğe geç başladığımız için son yarım saati neredeyse karanlıkta yürüdük ama netice olarak kısa ve keyifli bir etkinlik oldu.
Towsley Loop turunu 26 Ocak 2014 tarihinde tek başıma yaptığımda, Winkley Kanyonu tarafından yürüyüşe başlamıştım. Bugün otoparktan yola çıktıktan sonra sapmadan vadiye doğru yürüdük. Towsley Kanyonu’ndaki dar boğazdan geçtikten sonra patika yükselmeye başladı. Doğrusu buradan dönme isteyenlar olacağını bekliyordum ama yanıldım, minik grubumuz azimle tırmanmaya devam etti.
Yürüyüş başladıktan 1.5 saat sonra Towsley View noktasında zirve fotoğrafları çektik! Buraya üzerinde Towsley yazan bir levha yerleştirmişler. Çevredeki manzaranın en güzel seyredilebildiği bu nokta aslında turun en yüksek noktası değil. Patika devamla biraz daha yükseliyor, ve sonra Winkley Kanyonu tarafına doğru alçalarak devam ediyor.
Winkley tarafına devam ederken hava da kararmaya başladı. Daha aşağılarda ilerlerken iyice daralan vadi tabanında görüş epeyce azalmasına karşın, zemin uygun ve patika da çok belirgin olduğundan sorun yaşamadan turu bitirdik.

WE DID TOWSLEY VIEW TOUR WITH EVEREST – Feb.16, 2014
Today we completed this tour together, I did it alone last month because Ayşen Kamer Can and Everest had returned when it started to rain. We finished the approximately 9 km (5.1 miles + 800 mt) route in 2.5 hours, including climbing a small summit. Although we walked in the dark for about half an hour due to our late start, at the end result was a short but enjoyable event.
I had started to walk from Winkley Canyon side in my own Towsley Loop Tour event at Jan.26, 2014. Today, after went out from the Parking lot, we continued walking towards the valley. After passing the narrow pass at Towsley Canyon, the path started to rise. Actually, I expected someone would want to turn back, but I was wrong, our small group kept climbing with really great determination.
We took photos on the summit at Towsley View 1.5 hours after we started the hike! They’ve placed a sign here that says Towsley. Actually, this is a good spot to view the surrounding scenery, but not the highest point of the tour. The path continues to rise a little and then descends towards Winkley Canyon.
It began to get dark as we continued towards Winkley. Although the seeing is decreasing at the narrowing bottom of the valley pit that continues in the lower parts, we finished the activity without any problems because the ground is suitable and the path is very clear.
